When a magnetic field moves through a conductor a current called an Eddy current is induced in the conductor due to the magnetic field’s movement. The flow of electrons in the conductor creates an opposing magnetic field to the magnet which results in damping of the magnet and causes heating inside of the conductor similar to heat buildup inside of power cords. The loss of energy used to heat up the conductor is equal to the loss of kinetic energy by the magnet.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Wow wow wow. Where did the summer go? It is almost time to go back to school. I will be entering my junior year of college. I can’t believe two years has already flown by since I moved to the city.

This back to school look is very fashionable and perfect to make a statement on the first day. I paired a tribal print baseball tee with light washed slim jeans. Each stand out in their own way.

I topped off the look with these sick camo-like New Balances sneakers. The bright “N” isn’t too flashy, but makes a nice pop and ties in with the tee.

Lastly, you can’t go back to school without a backpack. This one has a large main area which will help when I can carry my textbook and laptop to class.
